About

We’re a friendly, informal group, meeting every few weeks - bring a favourite poem (or two) to read (or have read), anything from a limerick to Larkin and beyond, or just come along to listen. No need to book, though it would be helpful to let us know if you would like to come.

Vanity by Brian
Patten

When I broke the mirror I bought a new one,

I didn’t like what I saw,

So I took it back to the shop and asked for one

Like the one I bought some years before.
